In April 2018 we worked with our sister project ‘Curious Routes’ in Edinburgh to bring a series of month long activity to Broxburn United Sports Club’s ‘Alive and Kicking’ group.  We developed a programme of activity that would feed into common interests in the environment, keeping fit and creativity.

A varied programme of walking, bird watching, fishing, cooking, cricket, indoor exercise, making, writing and music was put together led by our community experts. Dorothy Livingston shared her amazing skills in making; Ian Lurinsky enthused fellow anglers;  Peter Johnstone got folk thinking about music and songwriting and the birdwatching knowledge of John Gordon inspired a series of walks.

Based on this time together we are now putting together a series of specific workshops with Broxburn United in filmmaking, music and making for Spring 2019.
